UNITECR Announces Call for Papers
CALL FOR PAPERS

Educate, Inspire, Share

Grab the wonderful chance we offer to be at the heart of this prestigious forum for the international refractories community. Become part of our roster for 2025 and take this fantastic opportunity to boost the knowledge base from within your own particular discipline. There will be a dynamic, receptive audience in Cancun, eager to listen, to learn, and to network.

Refractories remain key to operational excellence in major manufacturing industries such as iron & steel, heat treatment, cement, glass, ceramics, and petrochemical, and we plan to present specific tracks in our conference program to reflect this.

Of course, one of the hottest of hot topics right now is how the future will be fashioned by digitalization, AI and ML. We certainly hope to attract contributions from leading voices in this sphere.

Meeting tough challenges will always be part of the discussion, and whether it’s energy storage and efficiency, reuse/recycle, carbon neutrality, the role of hydrogen, or resource preservation, we know that refractory materials, in their many different forms, continue to play a vital role in addressing these issues. We will allocate space for these important topics.

No less important, your expertise may lie in one of the disciplines that underpin successful development, take-up and enhancement of refractories – education, testing, standards, basic science, technology transfer, for instance. We want all of these facets of the industry to be explored.

Wherever your skills lie, we invite you to begin your journey to Cancun 2025 by submitting an abstract. We look forward to amplifying your voice.

You will find more information here.
